Who We Are

Matt and Anthony are industrial arts teacher's at Freeburg Community High School in Freeburg, Illinois.  We both have a history of working in the trades as Matt was a former carpenter and Anthony worked at Granite City Steel.  Since becoming industrial arts instructors we have noticed the overwhelming need for skilled trades workers.  Each week we receive calls from unions, private companies and college programs searching for students to fill their openings.  As each year passes we have more and more students becoming interested in choosing a career in the trades.  We are able to teach these young men and women the basics in our shop classes but we want to be able to do more.  As someone enters a trade they may need special training or tools to be considered for a position.  Our mission is to provide this support system to help students bridge the gap from their education environment to the workforce.  With each bag of coffee sold we will be giving back 10 percent of our profits to help those in transition.
